The latest word from Marinelli is that Kitna is suffering no ill effects from the concussion Sunday in the Vikings game. It has been termed a very mild concussion and wont impact him playing this coming Sunday against the Eagles.

Marinelli also expects that Kevin Jones will see some carries in the game though he couldn’t guarantee it. Jones is doing well in his recovery. Tatum Bell will still get the start at halfback

I agree Lions Fan! In the first two games this season, we have been entirely too one dimensional. As we move later into the season and play the upper tier teams that won’t cut it. We need more of a running game to ensure the passing game can continue to stretch the field.

As to Bell and Duckett, I think the hope was that they would cut down on the number of carries that Jones would have to make in a game.
