Okay, I know I have said this before, but I will be back soon… Unfortunately, time is short and I haven’t had enough of it to spend here on my favorite team’s site. But, never fear, we shall be back before camp opens, ready for the new season.

The prospects for the Lions are mixed as we head to the 08/09 campaign. We had a pretty good draft and a so so free agent period. Still, we have lots of question marks for the upcoming season. I hope to cover them, at least my opinions, as the we get ready for the season.

The team to beat in our division this year, is likely to be the Minnesota Vikings. They have improved more than most teams in the offseason.

Oh no… some bad news… looks like my last 6 or 7 posts have disappeared… actually, my box had a mysql issue that crashed the database and corrupted it… no problem, I make daily backups of my database, lets just restore…

Or so I thought… Turns out that my cronjob for doing the backup had a syntax error on it for this domain and my last good backup was over a week ago… Oh hating… Turns out I dont have any way to restore the posts unless I find one of those splogger scraping accounts that duplicated my post… Moral - check and double check your backups…

Sorry for any inconvenience and the loss of the posts…
