Okay, I know I have said this before, but I will be back soon… Unfortunately, time is short and I haven’t had enough of it to spend here on my favorite team’s site. But, never fear, we shall be back before camp opens, ready for the new season.

The prospects for the Lions are mixed as we head to the 08/09 campaign. We had a pretty good draft and a so so free agent period. Still, we have lots of question marks for the upcoming season. I hope to cover them, at least my opinions, as the we get ready for the season.

The team to beat in our division this year, is likely to be the Minnesota Vikings. They have improved more than most teams in the offseason.

I know, I know… been a long time since a post and there has been some interesting news and going ons with the rookie camps and what not. I apologize for my lack of posts here lately, but I have been really swamped at work and at home.

It’s the middle of baseball season and my son has games three nights a week. Toss in the periodic dance recitals of my daughter and some late nights at work with a new program underway and time is short. Plus, we just recently released a new version of simple:press forum for wordpress of which I am a developer, and well, you get lots of excuses.

I really like this site and really like talking about the Lions. I hope to improve my post quantity here soon, certainly before camp begins.

I am excited about the upcoming season and want to share my views with you and see what everyone has to say.
